Triton completes 36,000 sq ft industrial scheme at Knowsley Hub

Triton was contracted to deliver full design and build of the units to incorporate offices and yard space.

Triton Construction has completed construction of a 36,000 sq ft industrial scheme at Knowsley Hub for logistics developer Redsun Projects.  The £3 million development comprises five units ranging from 6,000 sq ft to 10,000 sq ft with Howdens already taking occupation of unit two.

Knowsley Hub is a highly prominent site fronting South Boundary Road at the main entrance to Knowsley Industrial Estate where occupiers include Amazon, Ocado and QVC.

Following competitive tender, Triton was contracted to deliver a full turnkey solution for the scheme including groundworks remediation, partial demolition of an adjacent building and existing hard standing, and full design and build of the units to incorporate offices and yard space.

Triton also completed the diversion of an existing public sewer, surface water drainage, attenuation and foul water drainage, a new concrete service yard, hard and soft landscaping, car parking and lighting.  The unit specification includes 6.30m clear internal height, 40KN warehouse floor loading, 3 phase power supply, 4m wide automatic loading doors and EV charge points.

Paul Clarkson Managing Director at Triton Construction said,

“We are delighted to complete our first project for Redsun Projects which is one of the most active logistics space developers in the North-West.  With recent contract successes with other high-profile developers for schemes ranging in size up to 185,000 sq ft, we are forging a strong reputation for delivering turnkey solutions in a sector where demand is now critical.  We continue to invest in our presence in the North West with a highly skilled team.”
