Omnikote has provided a sub-contract finishing service since 1981.
Following feedback from shopfitters who were having problems sourcing satin and pearl chrome and nickel, they developed a range of nylon coatings designed as an alternative. These are many times tougher than normal powder coatings, and in tests carried out by a major retailer, was wearing better than chrome after a simulated 6.5 years heavy usage. There is the added advantage that the colour can be varied from silver through gold to bronze, or matched to customers’ requirements.
